EXHIBTION OF STUDENT PHOTOGRAPHY
MORAGA, CALIFORNIA….The Department of Art and Art History at Saint Mary’s College announces the opening of an exhibition of students’ art, entitled Student Photography Showcase, at Gallery 160 on the Saint Mary’s campus in Moraga. The exhibition opens November 4th and will run through November 20th, with an opening reception on Wednesday, November 4th at 12 pm.
The exhibition showcases photography created by different students at St. Mary’s College. The students chosen each took on different creative challenges that explore different subjects, lighting, and inspiration. Within in the same medium of photography, each student takes on a different obstacle whether it be a candid model to a unique way of processing the photograph. By using their surroundings and knowledge of people on campus, this exhibition not only showcases innovative photographs, but the essence of the campus.
Gallery 160 is located in Brother Cornelius Art Center at Saint Mary’s College, 1928 Saint Mary’s Road in Moraga. Admission is free.
